For me, family comes first. My parents + siblings have been everything from my inspiration, my #1 fans, and my first-ever "clients" (aka I forced them to be my models). I couldn't imagine a world without them and thanks to photography, I'll never have to. The photos I have with them and of them will live on long after they've gone - which is why I'll cherish this precious art forever.
I first discovered photography in middle school during a summer elective. Back then, my only subjects were the trees and animals outside of my school. I was nowhere near the best in the class, but no one could tell my 12 year old self that I wasn't a professional. Photography was the thing that froze time and I've loved it ever since I picked up my first digital camera.

That's why it's SO important to me that we're on the same page. After all, we will be spending a large portion of time together on one of the MOST important days of your life!!
No couple is the same, therefore no wedding or session is the same. Choosing me as your photographer means more than just having someone show up on the day. Instead, it means having someone rooting for you + your love every step of the way leading up to and even after your wedding.

I don't take it lightly that you will be trusting me to capture such special moments. It is truly an honor. That's why open communication is so important to me. We'll lay out expectations you have and what you'll receive from me so that there is no room for confusion. I'll send questionnaires, guides, and other emails to help ensure there is a clear view of what's ahead at all times. During the months of us working together, we'll grow to trust each other so that the wedding day is a breeze!

1 Corinthians 13 is the heartbeat behind Torri Dominique Photography. There is no greater love than Christ's love you and for me. May the work that I do encapsulate these scriptures. May its truth permeate my soul and be representative in me everywhere that I go. To do something with intentionality is to do it "purposefully" or "meaningfully." There is so much purpose and meaningfulness that goes into a wedding day. I want you to take comfort in the fact that every little detail, every thought, everything that you put into planning your wedding day is important to me. Regardless of aesthetic or trend - your wedding day is an encapsulation of your love story. I will be sure to capture it all.
